FADE IN: EXT. GUYANA COUNTRYSIDE – DAY A golden sun bathes the lush greenery in warm light. A narrow dirt path winds through dense bush. NIA (21), dark-skinned with long curly hair, a curious glint in her eyes, adjusts her backpack. She's sweaty, determined, and full of wonder. NIA (V.O.) Everyone said not to go alone. But curiosity has always been louder than caution. She steps off the path, parting vines as the sounds of birds and insects rise. EXT. DEEP AMAZON JUNGLE – LATER Nia pushes through thick foliage. Her GPS flickers and dies. NIA Of course... She sighs, takes a swig of water, and surveys her surroundings. NIA (V.O.) I just wanted to see what was out here... beyond what maps could tell. Suddenly — a rustle. She freezes. NIA Hello? Nothing. Then a faint humming sound, unnatural and rhythmic. She follows. EXT. HIDDEN CAVE ENTRANCE – EVENING Vines drape a stone arch, half-hidden by moss. The humming is louder now. Appears a portal.
