Simply follow our 5-step process:

1. Start: Enter your idea/topic (for Auto Script mode) or your pre-written script (for Manual Script Mode). Customize style, voice, tone, duration, and language via ‘Select Style’.
2. Add character: Choose from templates or create new ones. Skip this step if you don't have specific character expectations – AI will auto-generate based on your script.
3. Storyboard: Reorganize, edit, or delete the generated scenes (static images) to match your vision.
4. Review and finalize: Use the timeline to access and fine-tune all the assets of your video—visuals, voiceover, music/sound effects, and the thumbnail.
5. Export: Finalize your complete video, then share or download it!

This flow builds your video like Lego blocks, making it easy to bring your idea to life one step at a time.

Crreo works on all major browsers and devices, including mobile. Use Google Chrome on a desktop with a good internet connection for best results.

All your past work is saved in 'Tool History':

1. On Desktop: Find it in the left navigation panel.
2. On Mobile: Access through the menu icon at the top left.

To start a new project, click ‘Create new video’ from the same navigation menu.

Our Video Maker currently supports videos up to 30 minutes.

Editing videos with Crreo requires no video editing or technical expertise.

1. Adjust content: Edit your script in Step 1 (Start) or modify individual scenes in Step 3 (Storyboard).
2. Refine visuals: Edit or regenerate scenes with text prompts in Step 3 or Step 4 (Review). The more specific your descriptions, the better your results.
3. Customize audio: Change the voice of the character in Step 2 (Character) and the background music in Step 4.
4. Customize character: Change character settings in Step 2.

You can flexibly move between these steps during the creation process.

Our videos are delivered in crisp HD (1280x720) using our Kine 1.1 and 2.2 video models. For high-fidelity production, our flagship Kine 3 model delivers stunning 1080p resolution, available exclusively on the Pro and Ultra plans.

You can easily customize your video's visuals at different stages:

1. Scene Images: Edit in Step 3 (Storyboard) by selecting individual scenes and directly editing the text prompt. (Note: Precise scene image editing is only available on paid plans.)
2. Video Clips: Refine in Step 4 (Review), where you can modify, replace, or enhance each clip.

Create videos in virtually any language in just two steps:

1. Click ‘Select Style’ after entering your idea or script.
2. Type your preferred language in "Change language" at the bottom.

This multilingual capability is available exclusively for paid plan users.

Crreo Video Maker makes it easy to create videos of different durations. In Step 1, click 'Select Style' to find the Duration menu. Maximum video lengths depend on your plan:

1. Free Plan: Up to 1 minute
2. Start Plan: Up to 10 minutes
3. Grow and Pro Plans: Up to 15 minutes
4. Ultra Plan: Up to 30 minutes

Manual Script reads your text exactly.

The rule: plain text gets spoken; anything in [brackets] is shown but never read aloud.

1. Start each scene with [Scene 1], [Scene 2]…
2. Write narration as plain text — the voiceover reads it word for word.
3. Put visual directions in brackets: [Visuals: a calm ocean at sunrise → the camera drifts across the water].

For dialogue, start each line with the character's name (Emma: Let's begin) and set those characters up in Step 2 under the same names.

In Step 2 of the video maker:

Choose your starting point:

1. Browse the character library - pick from pre-made templates from our library
2. Create from text - describe your character in "Text-based" mode (available on all plans)
3. Upload your own image - use "Photo-based" mode for custom characters (Grow plan and higher)

Then customize:

1. Assign voices to characters in dialogue mode, or use your narrator voice from Step 1 for narrative mode
2. Save to your library to reuse across projects (Exclusive to Grow plan and higher)

You can add up to 4 characters per video and switch between narrative and dialogue modes.

When you create Characters in the Video Maker, you can choose between two forms:

1. Narrative form: Best for explanatory content with a consistent narrator throughout the video.
2. Dialogue form: Perfect for conversational, interactive content where up to 4 characters directly engage with each other or the audience.

Yes! You can upload your own images to create characters by selecting "Photo-based" mode in Step 2 of the video maker. This feature provides tighter control and better visual consistency across your scenes, and is available on the Grow plan and higher.

If you're on the Free or Start plan, you can create characters using "Text-based" mode to describe their appearance.

We offer 200+ lifelike voices spanning dozens of languages and accents. To explore options:

1. In Video Maker: Check the ‘Default voice’ menu under ‘Select style’.
2. In Speech Generator: Browse the ‘Language’ menu under ‘Select Voice’.

For complete emotional and performance control, the Pro and Ultra plans include exclusive access to our Voxu Actor lineup (30 customizable voices).

You can upgrade, downgrade, and cancel at any time in our Billing portal: visit My Account, tab Subscription, and click Billing Portal.

Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately. You'll only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing cycle when changing plans. Cancellations remain active until the end of your current billing period.

We offer a 7-day free trial for both our Grow and Pro plans, giving you full access to premium features before you commit.

1. Grow Trial: Test the Kine 2.2 model and Photo-based character consistency.
2. Pro Trial: Unlock the high-fidelity Kine 3 model (1080p) and Voxu Actor voiceovers for advanced control over emotion, tone, pace, style, and language.

You can select a trial on either the monthly or yearly billing cycle. You can cancel at any time before the end of the 7-day period to avoid being charged.

We now require a card on file for trials to prevent free trial abuse.

Yes! All paid plans allow unrestricted commercial use and monetization. Free plan videos include a watermark and require credit to www.crreo.ai with a link when publishing or monetizing content.

If you’re unhappy with your Crreo subscription, please contact us at support@crreo.ai, and we’ll make it right. In most cases, we process a full refund of the last payment, no questions asked. If you see a Crreo transaction on your account that you believe is fradulent, please contact us at support@crreo.ai and we'll resolve it quickly.

Share your creations with the world! In Step 5, click the 'Share' button at the top right corner to generate a shareable link. Anyone with this link can view your video instantly—perfect for sharing across social media, email, or messaging apps.

In rare cases, some browsers may not properly update the access certificate after upgrading. Please try these simple steps: Log out of Crreo. Close all tabs you may have opened with Crreo. Open a new tab, visit Crreo.ai, and log in again. Normally, this should make your account work properly.

This is usually caused by using Crreo in multiple tabs or on multiple devices, or using multiple Crreo accounts on the same device. Please try to log out of Crreo, close all open tabs on all devices, open a new tab, and log in again.

First, please check if there might be a typo in your email address. It happens to all of us sometimes! If emails are not being delivered, please check your spam folder. If emails are being delivered but you’re getting ‘token expired’, please check for a newer email in your inbox or resend the login email.

For the best experience, Google Sign-in is more reliable and smoother, so we highly recommend using it.
