**Scene 1: The Silent Years** **[Narrator]** For four hundred years, the voice of God was silent. **Scene 2: The Angel Visits Mary** **[Mary]** (kneeling in prayer) Who… who are you? **[Angel Gabriel]** Do not be afraid, Mary. You have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call Him Jesus. **[Mary]** But how can this be? I am not yet married. **[Angel Gabriel]** The Holy Spirit will come upon you. The power of the Most High will overshadow you. **[Mary]** (tearful but calm) I am the Lord’s servant. May it be to me as you have said. **Scene 3: Joseph’s Dream** **[Joseph]** (softly) Mary… how could this happen? **[Angel Gabriel]** (in dream) Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. The child within her is from the Holy Spirit. **[Joseph]** (whispering in his sleep) From the Holy Spirit…? **[Angel Gabriel]** She will give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. **[Joseph]** (awakens, voice firm) I will do as the Lord commands. **Scene 4: The Journey to Bethlehem** **[Mary]** Joseph, I’m growing weary… the road is long. **[Joseph]** Just a little farther, Mary. We’ll find rest soon. Hold on — God is with us. **Scene 5: The Birth of Jesus** **[Mary]** (holding the baby) His name… is Jesus. **[Joseph]** (smiling) The Son of God… born in a manger. **[Narrator]** And heaven watched as the Savior entered the world — not with crowns or armies, but with love. **Scene 6: The Angels and the Shepherds** **[Angel Gabriel]** Do not be afraid! I bring you good news of great joy — for today, in Bethlehem, a Savior is born! He is Christ the Lord! **[Narrator]** The heavens filled with voices singing: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace among those with whom He is pleased!”
